There are four types of sentences in English.

Declarative sentence
A declarative sentence is a sentence that tells you something. It ends with a full stop.
For example:

Imperative sentence
An imperative sentence is a sentence that tells someone to do something. It can be a command or a request. It ends with a full stop.
For example:

Interrogative sentence
An interrogative sentence is a sentence that asks a question. It ends with a question mark.
For example:
β Whatβs your favourite animal? π¦
β Where is the park? π
Exclamatory sentence
An exclamatory sentence is a sentence that shows a strong feeling. It ends with an exclamation mark.
For example:
